pitchfork recently posted some special live footage of broken social scene participating in an ongoing series called "juan's basement." these shows have a very intimate feel. it is almost like we are watching the band practice. for those of you who aren't familiar with broken social scene they are a canadian collective that has spawned such famous talent as feist, kevin drew, and brendan canning. please take time to get to know the music of broken social scene. also please check out this footage from "juan's basement."
